Lauren has just graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Southampton this summer. Her interest in women’s history extends across different periods and contexts such as imperial China, to Soviet women during the Great Patriotic War. For her undergraduate dissertation, she focussed on popular culture, in particular films, videogames and cyberspace, and their impact and influence on how historical narratives have been and continue to be perceived and consumed by the majority of the public. She's excited to be part of the HERstory Project team to expand and develop her knowledge and use her skills to help uncover women and queer histories that have been overlooked and underappreciated.
